The subject, Juni, is secured in a zero-escape apparatus (The Immobilizer) to ensure absolute sensory isolation and submission. The goal is to observe endurance thresholds during the heating phase and to quantify the elevated reactivity during the post-roasting tickle trial.

The soles of the feet are dense with Pacinian and Meissner’s corpuscles, making them a prime target for tickle concentration. Traditional methods rely on the skin’s natural resting state. However, anecdotal evidence suggests that heating the skin increases nerve conduction velocity and sensitizes free nerve endings. This experiment seeks to systematically prove that roasting a specimen’s soles to a state of extreme, stinging heat creates a state of hyperacute plantar hyperesthesia, effectively turning a simple tickle into an unbearable sensory overload.

Apparatus and Specimen Preparation

The Immobilizer Sheath & Tickle Table

The specimen, Juni, is fully encased within the Immobilizer, a sensory-deprivation body sheath. 24 heavy-duty leather straps are ratcheted to maximum tension, cross-buckling her torso, arms, and legs into the sheath, fusing her form to the reinforced Tickle Table. Escape is a mathematical impossibility.
